The Henninger Air Speeders
Our air speeders all have their own drive and are thus completely independent of the respective machine spindles in use. The attachment spindles are equipped with all common tool holders and interfaces if required. They are therefore suitable for all machine tools.
In order to achieve the required cutting data, e.g. when line-cutting moulds, the high speeds of the air speeders are needed. Modern cutting materials also require additional feeds. Conventional machine tools usually cannot achieve the speed. The Henninger air speeders are used here.
With Henninger air speeders the air can be supplied centrally through the mould cone. Thus this allows an easy way of handling with the machine’s automatic tool changer.

For which typical applications are our air speeders used by our customers?
Our air speeders are mainly used to increase the productivity of existing machine tools. They are used for engraving, line-off of moulds, milling of electrodes, production of micro and fine bores, grinding, tool grinding and deburring. Futhermore they are used in the Henninger Centre Grinding Machines.
