The Henninger ZS 2000 is a horizontally designed center grinding machine developed for applications with demanding requirements in terms of productivity and/or workpiece dimensions.
The machine is individually engineered according to customer requirements and enables different application focuses depending on the configuration:

The ZS 2000 is designed for machining large and heavy components, enabling workpiece weights of up to 2 tonnes (2,000 kg) and workpiece lengths of up to 6 m (6,000 mm).
Through the machine’s customer-specific design, even complex workpieces can be securely clamped and reliably machined.
simplified handling
The horizontal machine design offers significant advantages in suitable applications: the workpiece remains in the same orientation during loading as during the subsequent grinding process. This eliminates unnecessary repositioning, simplifies the workflow and reduces potential sources of error.
Combined with simultaneous grinding of both centers, processes can be accelerated and cycle times reduced.

The ZS 2000 can be loaded from above – manually, by crane or via automated gantry handling.
This design enables safe and flexible handling of different workpieces and supports efficient material flow within the manufacturing process.
intuitive operating concept
The ZS 2000 features a clearly structured operating concept: essential functions are directly accessible via dedicated buttons, enabling fast and safe machine control.
For advanced settings, an intuitive LCD display provides precise configuration of all relevant process parameters.
