Henninger’s 90° angle head is engineered for use on CNC milling machines and can be positioned horizontally, vertically, offset, or at virtually any angular orientation. Thanks to the exceptional rigidity of the right-angle milling head, it is capable of handling extreme roughing operations while also delivering outstanding surface finishes during precision finishing applications.
Multiple length configurations allow the CNC angle head to reach machining positions that are inaccessible with the machine’s standard spindle. This significantly reduces the need for multiple setups, resulting in shorter machining cycles, improved process efficiency, and higher workpiece accuracy.
Missing machine axes can be effectively compensated with the fixed 90° Henninger angle head in a wide range of machining positions. This expands the capabilities of your CNC machining center without the cost of investing in a completely new machine tool.
The right-angle head is available in numerous custom configurations for demanding machining applications. Depending on the process requirements, the unit can be equipped with crown gear or bevel gear drive systems, Hirth serration, rotary unions, 4 x 90° indexing, and through-spindle coolant supply. This ensures a CNC angle head solution precisely optimized for your milling, drilling, and precision machining operations.
