940 + 960 Series
Henninger motor spindles and built-in spindles all feature their own drive system and are therefore completely independent of the respective machine spindle during operation. If required, the add-on spindles are equipped with all common tool interfaces and spindle connections, making them suitable for all types of machine tools.
To achieve the required cutting data, for example when machining mould surfaces, the high speeds of the motor spindles are required. Modern cutting materials require high spindle speeds and feed rates. Conventional machine tools are often unable to provide the necessary speeds. This is where Henninger spindles are used.
The high rotational speeds enable economical machining, especially in mould and die manufacturing. The water cooling system ensures a long service life of the spindles and therefore high dimensional accuracy during machining.
The built-in spindles can be adapted and/or designed according to customer requirements. Numerous Henninger spindles are successfully used worldwide as custom-engineered solutions.
